Our approach is experiential. Personal experiences are discussed in the form of case studies and accompanied by reflection. The balance between theory and practice in our training is 25/75 percent. You are encouraged to read, study, and practice at your own pace from the comfort of your home. The group is trained based on coaching principles such as awareness and insight, taking and sharing responsibility, equality, and results orientation.

Participants are expected to systematically reflect on their learning experiences in a logbook. They will engage in practical work and conduct a minimum of 12 coaching conversations.

In Part 1, you will master the skills required for result-driven coaching. This course focuses more on the technical and instrumental aspects, with a strong emphasis on the power of questioning, the coaching agreement, and result-driven coaching. Certification is achieved through observations throughout the program and a portfolio consisting of reflections on 12 practical conversations and 3 books. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded the Postgraduate Education (Post-HBO) diploma as a Certified Professional Coach – Part 1 – ACC?Practitioner. With your diploma and sufficient practical hours, you will be recognized as a qualified coach at the ACC level by the International Coach Federation and at the Practitioner level by the EMCC Global. In summary:

2. You will coach based on raising awareness and fostering coachee’s personal responsibility.
3. You will engage in result-driven coaching within the context of work and employment.
4. You will facilitate personal development in others.
5. You will meet the training requirements for accreditation at the ACC level by the International Coach Federation and at the Practitioner level by the EMCC Global.
6. You will receive a Postgraduate Education (Post-HBO) diploma.

Intake Interview:

After registering, you will receive an intake form. During the intake interview, a key focus will be on discussing the candidate’s current or prospective work situation, as well as assessing the feasibility of achieving competence in the Professional Coaching skill areas. The intake interview does not incur any costs.
